Why Growth at £99 is cheaper than your current stack
A typical service business running HubSpot Pro (~£80/user) + Monday.com (~£22/user) + Zapier (~£15/user) + a document tool (~£20/user) spends ~£137/user/month — before integration maintenance costs. Growth at £99 replaces all of it, with agents included.
Every agent action consumes AI tokens. We pass this cost through transparently — at cost, with no markup. You choose whether to use your own API key or have us handle billing on your behalf.

Active entity pricing
An entity is any record the platform actively manages — a deal, a case, a tenancy, a contact. Entities in a closed or archived state don't count toward your limit. You only pay for what's live.

Common questions
Why do you separate token costs from the platform fee?
Because it's the honest approach. Bundling token costs into a flat fee means you pay the same whether your agents run 10 times a day or 1,000. Passing them through transparently means you see exactly what the AI work costs, and you can make informed decisions about how your agents are configured. The £99/user platform fee covers the platform, the compliance infrastructure, the entity model, and the safeguard layer — the token costs are purely the AI compute on top of that.
What's the difference between BYOK and managed billing?
With BYOK (bring your own API key), you have a direct relationship with Anthropic and pay them directly. We charge zero margin on tokens. With managed billing, we consolidate everything into one invoice — convenient, but we add a small 5% admin margin to cover our cost of capital and reconciliation. BYOK is recommended for teams spending £200+/month in tokens.
What exactly is an "active entity"?
An active entity is any record the platform is currently managing — an open deal, an active case, a current tenancy, a live contact. Records that are closed, archived, or completed don't count toward your limit. You can store unlimited historical records; you only pay for what's live and in-flight.
Can I see a detailed breakdown of token usage?
Yes — by design. Your billing dashboard shows token consumption broken down by agent, by run, and by day. You can see exactly which agent is consuming the most tokens, which tasks are expensive, and how usage trends over time. This is part of the execution capture architecture — everything is recorded, including token costs.
Do you charge for archived or historical records?
No. Archiving a completed case, deal, or tenancy removes it from your active entity count immediately. Historical records are retained permanently for audit purposes at no extra cost. You can query and reconstruct any past state without it affecting your billing.
What happens if I exceed my entity limit?
Nothing breaks. You're billed on the overage rate (£0.08/entity/month on Starter, £0.05 on Growth) for any entities above your included allowance. You'll see a warning in the platform dashboard when you're within 20% of your limit, and you can upgrade your plan at any time to increase the included allowance.
Is £99/user expensive compared to HubSpot or Monday?
Only if you compare it to a single tool in isolation. HubSpot Sales Pro runs ~£80/user. Monday.com is ~£22/user. Zapier is ~£15/user. A document tool adds ~£20/user. That's ~£137/user/month before anyone accounts for the time spent maintaining integrations between them. SurfaceOS Growth at £99 replaces all of it — CRM, project management, workflow automation, execution capture, client portal — with agents included. The question isn't whether £99 is expensive. It's whether £137 for four tools that don't talk to each other is good value.
Is there a minimum commitment or free trial?
We don't offer a self-serve free trial — the platform works best when configured for how your business actually operates, which takes a short onboarding session. Instead, we offer a structured pilot: a fixed-term engagement where you run on the platform with full support, giving you enough real usage to evaluate properly. Contact us to discuss pilot terms for your team.
